Kathryn Strupp
– Owner, Principal Recruiter
Kathryn Strupp is the founder of Whitfield Recruiting. She has worked in the staffing industry since 2005, focusing on recruiting, sales and client engagement. After leaving the industry to stay at home with her young children she returned to the business in 2015 with a new drive and focus to do recruiting the right way.
Kathryn is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and a graduate of West Virginia University, with a B.S. in Journalism and a Public Relations Major. She is married to Derrick and has two daughters Peyton and Emma. Kathryn and her family enjoy sports, traveling and rooting for WVU and KU!
Mary Elizabeth Smith
– Client Development Partner
Mary Elizabeth Smith is a Partner with Whitfield Recruiting focused on helping clients maximize their talent acquisition needs. Before WR, she managed The Energy Annex, a marketing research and focus group facility in Chicago serving Fortune 500 Companies. She also served on the board of The Marketing Research Association.
Mary Elizabeth is a native of Dallas, Texas and a graduate of Saint Louis University, with a B.S.B.A in Marketing. She lives in Kansas City, with her husband and three young children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, playing tennis, and patiently walking her basset hound, Miss Moneypenny.
